Terms of service

By participating in activities or purchasing services by Get Out Kayak you accept these Terms of Service.

 

All kayaking is undertaken at your own risk.

In order to book kayaks and equipment, or partake in any activities arranged by Get Out Kayak, you must be able to swim 200m and be at least 18 years old (or be in the company of your guardian). Personal floating devices should be used.

Kayaking is associated with risks, and all kayaking is done at your own risk. You are responsible for checking with your insurance company that your home insurance, all-risk insurance or the equivalent applies when renting a kayak. Get Out Kayak does not take responsibility for valuables or private property that is damaged during the activity.

Cancellations may be made up to 7 days before the booked activity. 2-6 days before the booked activity we offer free rescheduling of your booking. Cancellations made later than 48h before the booked activity will be charged with the full booking price.

To reschedule an activity you should make a new booking through our website. Email the new booking number to hello@getoutkayak.se. You will then receive a refund on the old booking corresponding to the value of the new booking (up to but not exceeding the full value of the old booking). The offer of free rescheduling is valid during the same year as the original booking.

If a person become seriously ill we offer free rescheduling even if it is less than 48h to the booked activity. The possibility to reschedule due to illness is personal and only valid for the sick person. If you can show that you have been infected by Covid-19, we offer free cancellation up to 24h before the booked activity.

Your safety is always our priority. If Get Out Kayak consider the current weather to pose serious risk or be dangerous for paddling we will cancel or reschedule your activity. Dangerous weather is primarily related to very strong winds or heavy thunderstorms.

Unless otherwise agreed with Get Out Kayak, kayaks and equipment are rented between 09:00 on the first date of the booking and 17:00 on the last day of the booking.* Kayaks and equipment that are returned late will be charged with the cost of 1 full day.

Lost or damaged equipment will be charged at cost price.

*For booking periods shorter than 1 full day, other time limits applies (as specified in your booking).
